Biowallet is an application that has created a lot of buzz since the G1 was first released. This application was created to “turn your phone into a safe-wallet”, a place to store all your information that only you should see and keep it protected in the best way possible. Now when we say protected we don’t mean simple password protection, this app was made to protect your information using your personal physical qualities that no one else can match.I head about Biowallet from AndroidAndMe back in September and signed up to be a Beta tester, since then I have gotten newsletters and new Beta’s as they have been released. As of right now the Beta only has the signature recognition feature but Mobbeel sent me a newsletter recently announcing that they have been working on the iris scanning feature and are receiving positive results from second generation Android phones like the Droid and the Nexus One. As for the first generation phones it is “very difficult” as they put it, it looks like we might not being seeing this feature for some. The newest Beta was just recently released in the Android market and is finally available for the general public.
I have had fantastic results with the signature recognition since the newest Beta was released. There are some great features like file encryption and data import and export. So go check out the app and keep your information easily accessible and safe and sacure.
