There is a project out there hosted by our friends at androidspin.com called OpenEclair and there are a lot of devs working on this, and its great for Dream and Magic Owners to know that someone still cares!

In fact it works great, its faster than any other 2.x ROM I have flashed to my G1. Which is probably due to the excellent team of folks working on this project.you got bits of cyanogen bits of ben from superD…all excellent devs! Give them money!

Its Cool, cant wait to see live wallpapers working (and I don’t mean 2D drawings rotating on my background like we saw in the manup based builds)

….Off to switchrom back to SuperD 1.8

On 2nd Thought I will keep it for a couple of days, backup for root users restore worked great so I got my apps, might as well…I will update with more findings!

02/02/2010: I am seeing double notifications for SMS and do not have anything that would cause that (such as chomp or another SMS app) and then I updated to 1.1.1 to see how that performed and things were worse, I heard from the changelog that all the LWPs were removed except one working but I still could not get anything to work and started getting more and more FCs, I would have uploaded some screen shots but Shoot Me would FC every time I tried to run it.

Now its back to switchrom SuperD 1.8
